I have previously posted about the amazing Nars eyeshadow duo in Alhambra, which you can read here if you haven’t read it already. In this post, I said how it was dangerous that I had been introduced into the world of Nars eyeshadows and I was so right because every time I buy one, I love them more and more. My most recent Nars eyeshadow obsession is the Nars single eyeshadow in Galapagos. Get ready to gasp at its beauty:
Now that we have all been stunned by the picture, I will start to talk more about the eyeshadow itself: This is the most perfect deep, rich, warm brown with golden shimmer shot through it that is so pigmented that is actually looks the same as it does in the pan, on your eyelids. If the Christmas and winter party season isn’t a good enough excuse to go and buy this eyeshadow, I don’t know what is! This shadow can be worn in so many way; you could wear it as a one shade smoky eye blended all around the eye, smudged into the lash line to deepen a look, or wear it in the outer corner paired with a golden shadow (MAC Woodwinked would be a perfect accomplice with this eyeshadow).
As you would have guessed, this shadow is so smooth and buttery yet doesn’t crumble under your brush when dipped in the pan like some buttery shadows do. This also blends so seamlessly that it makes you want to use it more so therefore you definitely get your money’s worth and it is worth every penny! As this is such a deep shadow, there is a little bit of fall out under the eye, but nothing that can’t be handled with the sweeping of a foundation brush. Other than that, I cannot fault it any other way and think it would be a great addition to anyone’s makeup bag for an evening out.
