Complexion Perfection

You know you are on the something when you hear the words: ‘You’re skin is looking good lately.’ It’s amazing how six little words can improve your mood. I do believe that this trio of products are just born to work together to create that appearance of a perfect complexion (well, almost), If a smoother skin texture along with a natural, healthy and luminous glow is your thing, then you have a few products to add to your shopping list.

The Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch is no stranger on these parts as it is something I have spoken about before, but it really does make applying the rest of your base makeup just dreamy because it helps it to glide on so smoothly. You do not need to apply alot of this product as the consistency is quite thick in the pot but it blends into the skin really nicely and provides a smoother and fresher looking base for your makeup. This is perfect if you are looking for something to reduce the look of uneven skin texture, fine lines and all that malarkey. This would also make a lovely gift for Mother’s Day if you are stuck for ideas because what Mum doesn’t like a bit of Clarins?!

While Clarins is on the brain, I may as well follow up with something that I have used for almost a year now and that is the Clarins Instant Light Complexion Perfector. When added over the top of the primer, your skin looks so luminous (but not shiny) and smooth you could even wear just these two products alone if you are having a really good skin day, but underneath foundation it works wonders because I find that I don’t use as much foundation because the texture of my skin already seems smoother and more even. I will always have this product in my collection because it is just so lovely and it just adds a little somethin’ somethin’ to my skin if it is looking a bit grey and tired.

The last ingredient in this recipe for complexion perfection is the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. This is such a lovely product because it has quite a liquidy consistency but has really buildable coverage so it looks natural and not at all cakey on the skin. It gives the skin such a healthy appearance, especially when used in combination with the other two Clarins products. If you are in the market for an everyday natural and dewy looking foundation to even out skin tone and tone down redness then this is something well worth looking into.

Have you tried any of these products? What is your favourite base combination?
