A trip to Topshop is always a joyous occasion isn’t it? Browsing the rails and shoe racks until your hands are piled high with things to try on, that is my idea of fun! But, when you think you are done and have no more money left to spare, you spot the makeup section and just have to take a peak. It is not a secret that Topshop lipsticks are a weakness of many, but my sister knows the ropes when it comes those lipsticks and her collection is simply drool worthy. After some digging around, she has kindly selected her top five and they are definitely worth a trip to Topshop.
First up is Innocent, a warm pink that is creamy to apply once warmed up and leaves a semi-matte finish on the lips. Considering this is quite a neutral colour, it really does stick around so it is perfect for those long days in the office! This shade of pink is a match made in heaven with a warm eye look for those balmy Summer evenings.
In theme with the Summer colours, we have Ditzy. This colour really is Summer in a tube because it is a bright coral shade but it is not to scary to wear in the day time, so one to look out for if you want to rock a bright lip in the day but aren’t too sure what to go for!
Even though all of these lipstick have a special place in my sister’s makeup bag, we all need our favourites and All About Me is the chosen one. It has an air of Girl About Town from MAC but is a much cheaper alternative and, let’s be honest, you can’t deny what a beautiful shade it is on the lips!
Of course there is a red option in the mix for all of you red lips lovers and Rio Rio is the perfect candidate. An orange toned red which is just the ticket for being on trend this summer. The name of this lipstick alone is enough to have you falling in love with it instantly!
Last but by no means least is Really Ruby, which is a raspberry toned red which are by far my favourite kind of red lipsticks because they suit everybody and are just really flattering, as well as being the perfect thing to slap on if you want to feel a little more classy.
The thing about these lipsticks which is so great, is that they last a really long time on the lips, which is a fantastic quality for only £8! With an amazing shade range, you would be crazy not the pick up of these up to add some va va voom into your makeup bag, or at least go and take a look in Topshop. Go on, you know it makes sense…
Which of these colours is your favourite?
