The thing that is cool about makeup, is that you have the ability to enhance certain features that you want to bring attention to. If you have big and beautiful blue eyes, why not take advantage of them and play them up with some gorgeous warm toned shadows. In order to make those blue peepers pop, you don’t need to be an expert at applying makeup becauase all you need is one eye shadow to sweep over the lids, easy.
Cream eyeshadows are one of the best things to have in your stash because they are so quick and easy to apply if you are in a pinch, but they also make great bases to put underneath powdered shadows in really enhance the colour and make it last longer too. A MAC paintpot is something that you just can’t go wrong with and the colour Indianwood is one of my absolute favourites because the really rich and warm gold tones are stunning against blue eyes and perfect for that Summertime golden goddess look. A budget option is this Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Paint in Rich Russet which is a little bit more taupey/bronze than the MAC paintpot so it can look lovely for a night out if you want something a little more smoky and it frames the eyes just beautifully.
If you have blue eyes and do not own these next two eyeshadows, I am telling you now that you need them, believe me. Woodwinked eyeshadow from MAC is a deep, warm, gold and shimmery pan of goodness and it is just a classic! This eyeshadow put over the top of Indianwood paintpot is just perfection. Now, if you want something to make those yeux bleus looking really intense, then MAC’s Antiqued eyeshadow is everything you could wish for. This rich rusty coloured shadow is such a contrast against blue eyes that you will be able to put anyone in a trance!
An even easier option, is a simple bronze eyeliner, such as the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal in Bronze, pop it in the waterline or smudge it around the lashline and you are good to go!
